Abstract

This research paper aims at reading “Ba’al” in the ancient language record and pursuing its original resources in: Lexicons, the Holy Quran and the Arabic Poetry from ancient and new ages, mentioning the evidences that confirm what the researcher demands؛he tries to extract the meaning study out from methodologies beyond language to subject this study to observation and objective analysis depending on linguistic context, which contains all the signs that a word appears in which contain all syntagmatic relations such as ; constant structures and annexation. The researcher considered the context of situation within the context semantic theory which consists the outer frame of the verbal production of the linguistic community. This research reclining on historical and appositive methodologies tries to approach the Word connotation in the sematic languages and history books, mentioning examples of linguistic usages in non – Arabic Language. The researcher considered the nouns which are added to ''Ba'al'' or combined with it, and when he noticed a connection between ''Ba'al'' and "Hubal" he tried to reveal this connection.

الملخص

يريد الباحث في هذه الورقة، قراءة لفظ "بعل" وتتبّع دلالاته المختلفة في المدوّنة اللغوية القديمة، وتتبّعها في مظانّها الأصيلة: في معاجم اللغة، والقرآن الكريم، والشعر العربي، بدءًا من القديم إلى الحديث، وذكر الشواهد التي تؤكد ما يذهب إليه الباحث، محاولاً تخليص دراسة المعنى من المناهج الخارجة عن اللغة، وجعل هذه الدراسة خاضعة للملاحظة والتحليل الموضوعي، معتمدًا في ذلك على (السياق اللغوي (linguistic context الذي يرد فيه اللفظ، ويشمل السياق اللغوي العلامات التي تتخذها الكلمة داخل الجملة ضمن العلاقات الأفقية (syntagmatic relation) بكل أنواعها، كالتراكيب الثابتة، والعبارات الجاهزة وكل ما يربط كلمتين أو أكثر في سياق لغوي مثل: اسم وحرف، أو مضاف ومضاف إليه، أو فعل ومفعول به. على أنّ الباحث لم يغفل السياق المقامي (of situation context) في رحاب النظرية الدلالية السياقية؛ وذلك أنه الإطار الخارجي، الذي يحيط بالإنتاج الفعلي للكلام في المجتمع اللغوي، كما يسعى البحث متكئًا على المنهج: التاريخي، وأحيانًا المقارن، إلى مداناة دلالة اللفظ في اللغات السامية، فضلًا عن التعرض له في كتب التاريخ، مع ذكر أمثلة من الاستعمالات اللغوية في غير اللغة العربية. ورأى الباحث أنه من المفيد للبحث، ذكر الأسماء المضافة إلى بعل، والأسماء المركبة منه مع اسمٍ آخر، ولمّا لاحظ الباحث رائحة التواصل بين لفظي "البعل" و "هُبَل"، حاول تلمّس التقارب بينهما.
