Abstract
The research discusses the hearing ability of the dead. The subject is presented in the Holy Quran as negation to the dead hearing the living. However, it is stated in the correct texts of Sunnah that the prophet Mohammad- peace be upon him - addressed the dead. Therefore, this research aims to clarify the apparent texts' conflict by presenting the sayings of the two sides. Showing afterwards that the dead cannot hear at all. Except for some certain cases.

الملخص
يتحدث البحث عن مسألة سماع الموتى. وهو موضوع عرضته الآيات القرآنية بحيثيِّة تفهم عدم سماع الأموات للأحياء مطلقا. ثم جاءت النصوص الصحيحة من السنة النبوية تثبت مخاطبة النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام للموتى. ومن هنا فقد جاء هذا البحث ليجيب عن إشكال تعارض النصوص. وذلك من خلال عرض أقوال المجيزين وأقوال النافين. وتبين بعد مناقشتها أن لا سماع للموتى بشكل مطلق. بل اختصَّ ذلك في حالات محددة. الدِّراسات السَّابقة: كتاب بعنوان: الآيات البيِّنات في عدم سماع الأموات على مذهب الحنفيّة السّادات. للألباني. وبحث بعنوان: هل الموتى يسمعون كلام الأحياء ؟ ((https: //www. alukah. net/sharia/0/68439/.
