Abstract

The study aimed at verifying the effectiveness of an integrated e-learning module in developing the written composition skills in Arabic language of the ninth grade students in the Sultanate of Oman. The study focused on the semi-experimental approach, which based on the design of the experimental and control groups. The experimental group included 35 students who studied the written composition by the integrated e-learning unit and the control group 34 student left for normal teaching. To achieve the objectives of the study, a list of the written composition skills for the ninth grade was prepared, and a test of the written composition and a standard for correcting it was prepared as well. An integrated e-learning module and a guidebook on how to use it in the teaching also was part of the preparation for the first group of 35 students. All were presented to a group of competent arbitrators to ascertain their validity, and according to the consistency of the test by calculating the coefficient of internal consistency by the Pearson correlation coefficient, T 0.95 skills combined. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of the integrated e-learning module in developing the written composition skills combined and separate of the students of the experimental group in post-application except content skill. Based on this finding, the researchers recommended that the development of written composition skills should be taken into consideration through various learning techniques based on e-learning in general and integrated e-learning in particular, such as the program developed in the study. The researchers suggested studies to detect the effectiveness of e-learning in the development of other Arabic language skills and its branches in different stages of study, and study its effectiveness in other variables such as critical thinking and creativity, and develop motivation to learn the language.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من فاعلية وحدة تعليمية مدمجة في تنمية مهارات التعبير الكتابي في اللغة العربية لدى طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي بسلطنة عمان، واعتمدت المنهج شبه التجريبي القائم على تصميم المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة؛ حيث ضمت المجموعة التجريبية 35 طالبة درسن التعبير الكتابي بواسطة الوحدة التعليمية الإلكترونية المدمجة، والمجموعة الضابطة 34 طالبة تُرِكن للإجراءات التدريسية المعتادة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة أُعدت قائمة بمهارات التعبير الكتابي المناسبة لطالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي، وبني في ضوئها اختبار للتعبير الكتابي ومعيار لتصحيحه، إضافة إلى بناء برمجية وحدة تعليمية إلكترونية مدمجة، ودليل إرشاديّ في كيفية توظيفها في تدريس التعبير الكتابي، عُرضت جميعها على مجموعة من المحكمين المختصين؛ للتأكد من صدقها، وحُسِب ثبات الاختبار عن طريق حساب معامل الاتساق الداخلي بواسطة معامل ارتباط بيرسون الذي بلغت نسبته 0.95 للمهارات مجتمعة. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى فاعلية الوحدة التعليمية الإلكترونية المدمجة في تنمية مهارات التعبير الكتابي مجتمعة ومنفصلة عدا مهارة المضمون لدى طالبات المجموعة التجريبية في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار مهارات التعبير الكتابي. وبناءً على هذه النتيجة؛ أوصى الباحثان بضرورة الاهتمام بتنمية مهارات التعبير الكتابي بواسطة تقنيات التعلم المختلفة القائمة على التعلم الإلكتروني عمومًا والتعلم الإلكتروني المدمج خصوصًا، مثل البرمجية المعدة في الدراسة الحالية، وتزويد دروس التعبير الكتابي في جميع المراحل الدراسية بالمعينات التعليمية والوسائط المتعددة والنماذج التعبيرية، واقترح الباحثان إجراء دراسات للكشف عن فاعلية التعلم الإلكتروني المدمج في تنمية مهارات اللغة الأخرى وفروعها في المراحل الدراسية المختلفة، ودراسة فاعليته في متغيرات أخرى كالتفكير الناقد والإبداعي، وتنمية الدافعية في تعلم اللغة العربية.
