Dr. Fayez Mahamid

I am a graduate with a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology and am currently a Rutherford Fellow in The Center for International Development at Northumbria University, In addition I continue to lecture in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at An- Najah National University, I conducted and supervised many projects in the fields of mental health, group therapy, trauma intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation in Palestine, I am also a member of Jordan Psychological Association (J.P.A), American Psychological Association (APA) and the Palestinian Syndicate of Psychologists and social workers, during my work at An-Najah National University, I used to be the head of Psychology and Counseling department from 2013- 2016 and the head of graduate department for human sciences from 2016- 2018, and I also taughted many courses for graduate and undergraduate students such as: Group therapy , family therapy, statistical analysis via computer, experimental psychology, measurement and evaluation, mental health, counseling for special populations, diagnosis in counseling, counseling and psychotherapy theories, behavioral modification, clinical supervision, expressive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
