Prof. Abdulnaser I. Nour

Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Ibrahim Nour is a distinguished professor in the
field of accounting - Department of Accounting - Faculty of Business and
Communication - An-Najah National University. Nablus, Palestine. His
academic interests are wide-ranging, covering topics such as international
auditing standards, sustainability accounting, corporate governance,
international financial reporting standards, intellectual capital, financial
analysis, and balanced scorecard. In addition to his research, he is also the
editor-in-chief of An-Najah Journal of Law and Economics and an
associate editor of An-Najah University Journal for Humanities, indexed
in Scopus, and an editorial member and reviewer for several international
journals listed in reputable databases in Scopus, demonstrating his
influence in the academic field. He has worked in multiple institutions and
is involved in mentoring students and faculty members through many
international academic and research collaborations. Dr. Nour was the
Dean and Head of the Department of Accounting at the Faculty of
Business at the Middle East University in Amman - Jordan, the Dean of
the Graduate School at Zarqa University - Jordan, and the Dean of the
Faculty of Business at Al-Ahliyya Amman University - Amman - Jordan.
He also taught part-time at several Jordanian universities from 2005 to
2016, such as the University of Jordan and Hashemite University. He also
published more than 115 articles in Arabic and English in local, Arab and
international peer-reviewed journals in the fields of accounting, finance
and management. He also published 8 books in the fields of accounting
that are taught in Arab universities.
