Dr. Naeem Salameh was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Law at An-Najah National University at the beginning of the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year for a four-year term. In August 2023, he was appointed Vice President Assistant for Academic Affairs, a position he continues to hold to this day. Dr. Salameh began his work at An-Najah National University in the 2014/2015 academic year as an Assistant Professor of Private Law, after earning his Ph.D. with distinction in Commercial Law. He has taught a wide range of Private Law courses, including Commercial Law and Commercial Contracts, Modern Commercial Transactions, Banking Transactions, Company Law, and Labor Law, among others, in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. He also served as Coordinator of the Master’s Programs in Law from 2017 to 2022 and was the founding coordinator of the Ph.D. Program in Law at the University in the 2022/2023 academic year. Furthermore, he established the Master’s Program in Investment and Finance Legislation and the Master’s Program in Governance and Anti- Corruption Studies, in cooperation with the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission.
Dr. Salameh has played a key role in enhancing practical legal education at the faculty of Law through moot courts and the legal clinic. Most recently (2025), he contributed to the establishment and launch of the University’s Legal Incubator in cooperation with the Sawasya III Program.
He currently holds the rank of Associate Professor of Private Law (since 2024). Before joining An-Najah National University, he worked as a legal consultant on several legal projects implemented by Palestinian institutions in partnership with various international donor agencies, including USAID, the EU, GIZ, AFD, ILO, and World Vision.
Dr. Salameh has achieved notable success in developing and reviewing several studies, regulations, and laws in both the public and private sectors, as well as in the Palestinian judicial system. He has published several peer-reviewed legal research papers and presented working papers at numerous legal seminars and conferences. He is also a member of several committees related to public affairs in Palestine. He has received multiple training programs locally and abroad in strategic planning, finance, human resource management, and the enhancement of effective and blended learning methods.
In 2025, he was selected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Judicial Institute.
