Prof. Christoph Fahlke

Prof. Fahlke is a Director at Institute of Complex Systems, Forschungszentrum Jülich and Professor at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. He uses a combination of experimental and computational approaches to study the function of these proteins at the molecular level and to understand their contributions to cell and organ functions. His work aims at understanding the role of ion channels, ion transporters and receptors under pathological conditions and at contributing to the development of novel therapeutic approaches for human diseases.
