Dr. Yaser Snoubar

Dr. Yaser Snoubar received his Ph.D. in Social Work from Hacettepe University-Turkey in 2015. He completed post-doctoral research in Social Work at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University and post-doctoral research in International Relations on International Humanitarian Aid at Middle East Technical University. He worked at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University in 2013 and taught both bachelor’s and master’s degree classes. He then joined Qatar University in the fall of 2018 as an Assistant Professor in the Social Work Program at the Department of Social Sciences. He has several research grants in specialization and interdisciplinary and published two books in social work. He is also a contributing author of several books in English and Turkish. He has several academic publications with specialized in international and regional scientific journals. He has participated and been invited as a speaker in many regional and international conferences. He is an assistant professor of social work and coordinator of the social work program at Qatar University.
