This research deals with “Time” in Habeeb Hana’s novel “Engravings on the Heart’s wall”. Besides, it aims at identifying the Types of time namely: the real, psychological, historical and cosmic times. The research, moreover, highlights the relation between time and its extension with the environmental place, the characters movement and the incidents. The research reveals the authar’s ability to skillfully employ the above Mentioned artistic tools through dealing with the AL AqSa Intifada in cidents where types of time are combined artistically in order to achieve aesthetic goals.

يتناول البحث الزمن في رواية حفريات على جدار القلب للكاتب حبيب هنا، ويهدف إلى تحديد أنواع الزمن في الرواية وهي: الزمن الحقيقي، والنفسي، والتاريخي، والكوني. كما يهدف إلى إبراز علاقات الزمن، ومدى ارتباطها بالبيئة المكانية وحركة الشخوص والأحداث. ويكشف البحث عن قدرة الكاتب على توظيف العناصر البنائية السابقة من خلال معالجة بعض أحداث انتفاضة الأقصى، التي تداخلت فيها الأزمنة بشكل فني له غايات جمالية.
