This study aimed to identify the effect of a training program on the development social competence among students with LD through investigating the following hypotheses. - There are no statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in social competence. The population of the study consisted of (415) students attending resource rooms in the schools of the Directorate of Education in Zarqa )265 (males and 150 as females). The sample of the study consisted of 24 students as an experimental group and 24 students as a control group. Social competence was assessed through School Social Behavior Scale (Merril, 1993). After the process of testing students. Students’ skills were assessed after completing the training program regarding all variables of the experimental and control groups. ANCOVA was used to analyze the results of the study. The findings revealed the presence of statistically significant differences in the social competence scale.

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف على أثر برنامج تدريبي على تنمية الكفاية الاجتماعية للطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم الملحقين في غرف مصادر التعلم في مديرية تربية الزرقاء. وعلى وجه التحديد سعت هذه الدراسة إلى فحص الفرضية التالية: - لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (α = 05. 0) بين أفراد المجموعتين التجريبية و الضابطة على مقياس الكفاية الاجتماعية. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من الطلبة الملحقين في غرف مصادر التعلم للصف الثاني، والثالث، والرابع الأساسي الذين لديهم صعوبات تعلم، والبالغ عددهم (415) طالباً وطالبة، منهم (265) طالباً، و(150) طالبة، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (24) طالباً وطالبة كمجموعة تجريبية، و(24) طالباً وطالبة مجموعة ضابطة. وتم الكشف عن الكفاية الاجتماعية من خلال مقياس السلوك الاجتماعي المدرسي لميربل (Merril, 1993). وبعد تطبيق الاختبارات القبلية تم تطبيق البرنامج التدريبي على المجموعة التجريبية، ثم تم إجراء القياس البعدي لمتغير الدراسة للمجموعتين الضابطة والتجريبية، ومن أجل تحليل نتائج الدراسة تم استخدام تحليل التغاير(ANCOVA). وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا لصالح المجموعة التجريبية على مقياس الكفاية الاجتماعية
