This research attempts to discuss Arabic language as one of the most important elements of Arab nationalist thought by studying the works of the thinker Ahmed Sidki Dajani, who is viewed as a model of Arab nationalism at the personal as well as the professional levels. The research studies Dajani’s books, and his enterprise which outline the features of Arab Islamic nationalism, in order to realize the Arab civilizational enterprise and its linguistic component as manifested in the revival of Arabic language and literature, considered as a prerequisite to reviving pan-Arabism.
