Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate students and instructors' attitudes toward computerized tests in Business faculty at main the campus of Al- Blaqa Applied University. The study sample was selected utilizing a stratified random technique and consisted of (338) students, including (156) Male and (182) Female. Additionally, the researcher interviewed (5) instructors employing Semi-structured interview. An instrument was developed to measure student's attitude toward computerized tests, which include (35) items covering two dimensions: testing procedures and nature of the test. After finding psychometric properties for the scale. The findings reveal that students and teachers have positive attitude toward computerized tests. Students' gender has influenced their attitude in favor of female students. There is a positive relationship between students' attitudes and their cumulative. The study recommends that conducting future studies to measure students' attitude toward computerized tests among other students in other faculties of Al- Balqa Applied University.

الملخص

تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة اتجاهات الطلبة والمدرسين نحو الاختبارات المحوسبة بكلية الأعمال بجامعة البلقاء التطبيقية، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (338) طالباً وطالبة تم اختيارهم باستخدام العينة العشوائية الطبقية؛ بواقع (156) طالباً، و(182) طالبة، كما تكون أفراد الدراسة من خمسة مدرسين من كلية الأعمال بمركز الجامعة، تم تطوير مقياس لقياس اتجاهات الطلبة نحو الاختبارات المحوسبة تكون من (35) فقرة تم توزيعها إلى بعدين رئيسين هما: بعد إجراءات الاختبار، وبعد طبيعة الاختبار، كما استخدم الباحث أسلوب المقابلات شبه المقننة مع أفراد عينة الدراسة من المدرسين، وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود اتجاهات إيجابية لدى الطلبة والمدرسين نحو الاختبارات المحوسبة، كما بينت النتائج ايضاً الى اختلاف اتجاهات الطلبة نحو الاختبارات المحوسبة باختلاف متغير جنس الطالب لصالح الطلبة الذكور، ووجود علاقة طرديه إيجابية بين اتجاهات الطلبة للاختبارات المحوسبة والمعدل التراكمي للطالب. وقد أوصت الدراسة بإجراء العديد من الدراسات ذات العلاقة بالاختبارات المحوسبة مستقبلاً من أجل معرفة المزيد من الاتجاهات لدى الطلبة في كليات الجامعة الأخرى.
