Abstract

This study aims at identifying the compatibility of the environment of school science laboratories with the skills of knowledge economy, and the study relied on the descriptive approach, where the questionnaire was used to collect data and included four filed, namely: creativity and thinking, problem-solving, effectiveness of the laboratory environment, and the provision of possibilities and communication technology, where the honesty and reliability of questionnaire have been verified. The sample of the study consisted of (228) supervisors of science laboratories in the 1st Irbid educational Directorate schools. The results showed that the environment of school science laboratories corresponds to the knowledge economy skills have a high degree in all fields, most notably for creativity and thinking followed by the provision of possibilities and information technology and then the effectiveness of the laboratory environment and finally problem-solving. The results also indicated that there were no significant differences in the estimates of the supervisors of science laboratories on the compatibility of the environment of school science laboratories with the knowledge economy skills in all fields and estimates as a whole due to the variables of gender, experience, and educational qualification. The study recommended the need to prepare science laboratories and provide the laboratory environment for the possibility of re-experiment more than once to confirm the information and the formation of knowledge.

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى مدى توافق بيئة مختبرات العلوم المدرسية مع مهارات الإقتصاد المعرفي، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، حيث تمَّ أستخدام الاستبانة لجمع البيانات وإشتملت على أربعة مجالات، وهي: الإبداع، والتفكير، وحل المشكلات، وفاعلية بيئة المختبرات، وتوفير الإمكانيات وتكنولوجيا الإتصال، وتمَّ التحقق من دلالات صدقها وثباتها، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (228) فرداً من مشرفي مختبرات العلوم في مدارس تربية إربد الأولى. أظهرت النتائج أنَّ بيئة مختبرات العلوم المدرسية تتوافق مع مهارات الإقتصاد المعرفي بدرجة مرتفعة في جميع المجالات، وكان أبرزها للإبداع والتفكير يليه توفير الإمكانيات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات ثم فاعلية بيئة المختبرات وأخيراً حل المشكلات، وأشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة في تقديرات مشرفي مختبرات العلوم حول مدى توافق بيئة مختبرات العلوم المدرسية مع مهارات الإقتصاد المعرفي في جميع المجالات والتقديرات ككل تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، والخبرة، والمؤهل العلمي. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تهيئة مختبرات العلوم وإتاحة بيئة المختبر لإمكانية إعادة التجربة أكثر من مرة لتأكيد المعلومة وتكوين المعرفة.
