Abstract

The study aimed to identify and shed the lights on the reality of the health services programs presented to the students of Zarqa Governorate Schools, through answering the following question: what is the reality of the health services programs presented to the students of Zarqa Governorate schools as seen by the principals? The study population consisted of all schools principals in Zarqa Governorate (316) for the academic year (2003/2004) the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisted of 40 items, covered fields of schools health programs: health services, health education, schools health environment, the researcher also verified the validity and reliability of study tool. To answer the study question averages and percentages were applied for each item of the fields of school health services programs presented in the schools. The study concluded that the level of implementation of health services programs in the schools of Zarqa Governerate is medium. The researcher recommended an increase in the training of the medical and associated medical staff by the supervisors of the school health services, increase the teachers and officials in medical school health services, and advise the directors of the educational directorates to be more interested in accomplishing the environmental reforms required by the staff of school health programs.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة تعرف واقع برامج الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للطلبة في مدارس محافظة الزرقاء وذلك من خلال الإجابة عن السؤال التالي: ما واقع برامج الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للطلبة في مدارس محافظة الزرقاء كما يراها مديرو المدارس؟ تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مديري المدارس الحكومية في محافظة الزرقاء وعددهم (316) مديراً للعام الدراسي (2003/2004) ولأغراض الدراسية قام الباحث ببناء استبانة مكونة من (40) فقرة موزعة على مجالات برامج الصحة المدرسية وهي: الخدمات الصحية، التثقيف الصحي، البيئة المدرسية الصحية، وقام الباحث بالتأكد من صدق وثبات أداة الدراسة. وللإجابة عن سؤال الدراسة تم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والنسب المئوية لكل فقرة من مجالات برامج الخدمات الصحية المدرسية المقدمة في المدارس وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن واقع تطبيق برامج الخدمات الصحية في مدارس محافظة الزرقاء تتم بصورة متوسطة. وفي نهاية الدراسة أوصى الباحث بزيادة الاهتمام بتدريب الكوادر الطبية والطبية المساعدة من قبل المشرفين على خدمات الصحة المدرسية، وكذلك تدريب المعلمين والمسؤولين عن تقديم الخدمات الصحية المدرسية، وإعطاء مزيداًً من الاهتمام من قبل مديري التربية والتعليم بالقيام بالإصلاحات البيئية التي يطلبها كوادر برامج الصحة المدرسية.
