Evaluating the Seventh Grades Palestinian Science Textbook from Teachers’ Perspective

Abstract

This study aimed at evaluating the Seventh Grades Palestinian Science textbook from teachers’ perspective. The researcher tried to find out the influence of some variables, such as: gender, academic qualification, teachers experience, and the number of training courses that the teacher participated in, on the perspectives of teachers. For the purpose of this study a sample of ( 51) teachers responded to a questionnaire consisted of ( 62 ) items divided of the following six domains: general view(layout) of the book, introduction, content, educational techniques, enhancing students attitudes towards science, evaluation questions, Number of lessons, laboratories, and the readability of the book.

الملخص
