Abstract

Al-Farra' has excessively employed illusion in directing and justifying some linguistic phenomena. The harmony between the cases of illusion, according to him, has originated an integrated unit which manifests an intended objective and foretells an ideology of justification and explanation; such an ideology overlooks the visible and takes illusion into consideration.
