Abstract
This research endeavors to highlight the care that parent poets during the Jahilyia period showed for the upbringing of their children. Parent poets sought to foster higher values within the personalities of their children so that their children would represent the generous values of the society that the Arab at that time cared to preserve. I hope that I will be able through this study to introduce the most important educational values that the Jahilyia poets cared to charge their children with, making of them outstanding men and women.
