Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of Palestinian children's magazines (Alzayzafona -Tomooh –Wa'ad) in supporting the Palestinian child's right of benefiting and participating through recognizing the quality of their topics and objectives to evaluate their role in supporting the child's right to communicate and recognize methods of participation. The study reveals that literary and artistic topics rank first by 32.7%. They are followed by topics of entertainment by 19.2%. and accordingly their objectives concerning developing children's knowledge is represented by 34.6%. The study also shows that the right of benefiting from magazines is not verified equally because the published topics target the children audience in general by 90.2%, giving no specific sources with an a verge of 47.2%. The study has also shown that magazines relatively support freedom of participation by 62.6% through publishing their variant contributions as well as allocating pages, for sharing and sending information and using several technical and editorial forms which support that.

الملخص

تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور مجلات الأطفال الفلسطينية (الزيزفونة- وعد – طموح) في تدعيم حق انتفاع الطفل الفلسطيني ومشاركته، من خلال التعرف على نوعية الموضوعات وأهدافها، والوقوف على دورها في تدعيم حق الطفل في الاتصال والتعرف على أساليب المشاركة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن الموضوعات الأدبية والفنية تأتي في الترتيب الأول وبنسبة 32.7%، تلاها موضوعات التسلية والترفيه بنسبة 19.2%، وتمثلت أهدافها في تنمية المعارف لدى الأطفال بنسبة 34.6%، كما تبين أن الحق في الانتفاع بالمجلات غير متحقق بصورة متكافئة ومتساوية، وذلك لأن الموضوعات المنشورة تستهدف جمهور الأطفال عموما وبنسبة 90.2%، وهي غير محددة المصادر بنسبة47.2%. وتوصلت أيضا إلى أن المجلات تدعم نسبيا حرية المشاركة وبنسبة 62.6%، من خلال نشر مساهماتهم المختلفة وتخصيص صفحات للمشاركة، وإرسال بعض المعلومات، واستخدام مختلف الفنون والأشكال التحريرية التي تدعم ذلك.
