Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of the frequent training to improve the anaerobic distinctive threshold. The study focused on four variables (speed endurance, strength endurance - the maximum oxygen consumption - maximum heart rate) to the long-distance runners, and also sought to find out the impact of this type of training to improve the level of achievement for the long-distance runners. The study sample consisted of (5) players from the long-distance runners in a team of University of Jordan athletics. The researcher used the experimental approach relevant to the nature of this study through the design of a training program in a training frequency and after refer to the literature, theoretical references, and scientific studies relevant. The program consisted of (48) training units for a period of (8) weeks, by (6) units of training per week. The results revealed the presence of statistically significant differences between pre and posttest for telemetric improved anaerobic distinctive threshold and achievement among the sample of the study, and recommends that the researcher should use this mode by the trainers for the purpose of improving the anaerobic distinctive threshold to the long-distance runners.
