This study aims at constructing an instructional program and measuring its effect on the syntactic knowledge and performance in Arabic writing of basic tenth graders in Jordan by answering the following questions: Question one: What is the effect of an instructional program in syntactic knowledge on sample of basic tenth graders in the first educational directorate of Irbid in light of Bloom's taxonomy? Question two: What is the effect of an instructional program in syntactic performance in Arabic writing on sample of basic tenth graders in the first educational directorate of Irbid? The sample of the study consists of two sections, one of them serves as the experimental group (N=30), whereas, the other serves as the control group (N=30). For the purpose of the study, three tools were developed (instructional program, syntactic knowledge test and syntactic performance in Arabic writing scale). Study revealed the following: There is a statistically significant difference at the significant level (a = 0.05) in syntactic knowledge attributed to the application of the instructional program on the experimental group. Moreover, the study outcomes unraveled a statistically significant difference at the significant level (a = 0.05) in syntactic performance in Arabic writing attributed to the application of the instructional program on the experimental group.

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بناء برنامج تعليمي وقياس أثره في المعرفة النحوية وفي الأداء النحوي بالكتابة العربية لدى طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف،جرى بناء اختبارين يقيس الأول المعرفة النحوية، ويقيس الثاني الأداء النحوي في الكتابة العربية، وجرى تصميم برنامج تعليمي لتنمية المعرفة النحوية، والأداء النحوي في الكتابة العربية لدى عينة الدراسة. وقد حاولت الدراسة الإجابة عن السؤالين الآتيين: السؤال الأول: ما أثر برنامج تعليمي في المعرفة النحوية وفق تصنيف (بلوم) لدى عينة من طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في مديرية تربية إربد الأولى؟ السؤال الثاني: ما أثر برنامج تعليمي في الأداء النحوي بالكتابة العربية لدى عينة من طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في مديرية تربية إربد الأولى؟ وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (60) طالباً من طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2009/2012، موزعين في شعبتين؛ شعبة مثّلت مجموعة تجريبية مكونة من (30) طالباً، وأخرى مثّلت مجموعة ضابطة مكونة من (30) طالباً جرى تعيينهما بالطريقة العشوائية. وقد كشفت الدراسة عن النتائج الآتية: وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) في المعرفة النحوية تعزى إلى استخدام البرنامج التعليمي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وكشفت عن وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) في الأداء النحوي بالكتابة يعزى إلى البرنامج التعليمي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية.
