Abstract
This research deals with the wergild of the Muslim woman. It defines what is meant by the wergild and showed the aim of its legitimacy. Then it showed the basis of specifying the wergild and the kind of money that it should be paid in. This research is also intended to specify the amount of the wergild of the Muslim woman discussing the jurisprudents' opinions who say it is half of the wergild of the Muslim man. Those who say this are the majority of scholars. The research is also intended to deal with those who say that the wergild of the Muslim woman is equal to that of the Muslim man. This research concluded that the wergild of the Muslim woman is Similar to the wergild of the Muslim man.

الملخص
هذا البحث يتناول دية المرأة المسلمة، حيث عرفتُ المقصود بالدية وبينتُ الحكمة من مشروعيتها، ثم بينتُ الأصل في تحديد الديات ونوع المال الذي تجب فيه الدية، ثم وقفتُ على مقدار دية المرأة المسلمة مناقشاً آراء الفقهاء القائلين إنها على النصف من دية الرجل وهم جمهور الفقهاء وآراء القائلين بأن دية المرأة المسلمة مساوية لدية الرجل وخلصتُ إلى أن دية المرأة مساوية لدية الرجل.
