Burnout and the Level of Job Satisfaction and their Relationship among Resource Rooms Teachers in Jordan

Abstract
This study aimed at identifying the level of Burnout and Job Satisfactionand their relationship Among Resource Rooms Teachers, and to investigate whether it would differ according to the variables of: Gender, academic level, and years of experience. The sample of the study consisted of (121) meal and female Resource Rooms teachers. The data were handled statistically by calculated the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, MANOVA, ANOVA, and Person Correlation. The results revealed that the level of Burn-out and Job Satisfaction among Resource Rooms Teachers was moderate. The study results also showed that teachers who have master's degree have higher level of Burnout than teachers who have bachelor's degree, and teachers who have bachelor's degree have higher level of job satisfaction than teachers who have master's degree. In addition to that, the study results showed a statistically significant inverse relationship between burnout and job satisfaction. The results were discussed in light of previous studies, and a number of recommendations were suggested.

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الاحتراق النفسي والرضا الوظيفي والعلاقة بينهما لدى معلمي غرف المصادر. ومعرفة مدى اختلاف مستوى الاحتراق النفسي والرضا الوظيفي، لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة باختلاف متغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العملي، وعدد سنوات الخبرة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (121) معلماً ومعلمةً يقومون بتدريس الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم في غرف المصادر. تمت معالجة البيانات إحصائياً عن طريق حساب المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، وتحليل التباين المتعدد (MANOVA)، وتحليل التباين الثلاثي (ANOVA)، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون (Person Correlation). توصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الاحتراق النفسي والرضا الوظيفي لدى معلمي غرف المصادر كان بدرجة متوسطة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المعلمين من حملة الماجستير لديهم مستوى احتراق نفسي أعلى من المعلمين حملة البكالوريوس، وأن المعلمين من حملة البكالوريوس لديهم درجة رضا وظيفي أعلى من المعلمين حملة الماجستير. إضافة إلى وجود علاقة عكسية دالة إحصائياً بين الاحتراق النفسي والرضا الوظيفي. وقد نوقشت النتائج في ضوء الأدب النظري والدراسات السابقة، وقدمت التوصيات المناسبة.
