Abstract

The study aimed to identify and highlight the role ofteaching the physical education in the Jordanian society according to the specialist’s perspective. The researchers have prepared a questionnaire to fulfill the desired objectives. A sample of (726) individual was chosen to fill the questionnaire. The sample included all the teaching staff members and the fourth year students of the physical education at the Jordanian universities, the physical education supervisors in the various education areas, a number of teachers, at government, private and UNRWA schools. The results revealed that the field of the physical health culture occupied the first rank, while the moral values ranked last. Moreover the results estimation significance differences in favor of the functional levels (the university faculty member and the physical education supervisor). Its worth mentioning that no significance differences in terms of the gender differences. And the existence of significant differences due to the variable qqualification top, and longer experience. And the employer in the private sector and UNRWA. The researchers recommended that the role of the physical education  should be stressed and highlighted, and the need to focus on the subject studied and physical education teacher, and attention to specialize by encouraging study and work.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على دور التعليم في التربية الرياضية في المجتمع الأردني من وجهة نظر متخصصيها. وقام الباحثان بإعداد وتصميم استبانه لتحقيق الأهداف المبتغاة. وتم اختيار عينة قوامها (726) فردًاً، موزعة على جميع أعضاء هيئات التدريس وطلاب السنة الرابعة  في كليات التربية الرياضية في الجامعات الأردنية، ومشرفي التربية الرياضية في مديريات التربية والتعليم، ومعلمي ومعلمات التربية الرياضية في مدارس المملكة: الحكومية والخاصة ووكالة الغوث الدولية.  وأظهرت النتائج أن تقديرات أفراد العينة حول دور التربية الرياضية جاءت بدرجة متوسطة على جميع المجالات، وجاء مجال الثقافة الصحية الجسدية في المرتبة الأولى، ومجال القيم الأخلاقية في المرتبة الأخيرة. وتقديرات أفراد العينة دالة معنويًا لصالح المراكز الوظيفية (عضو هيئة تدريس جامعي، ومشرف تربية رياضيّة)، ولا وجود لفروق دالة معنويًا لمتغير الجنس. مع وجود فروق دالة معنويًا تعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي الأعلى، والخبرة الأطول، وجهة العمل في القطاع الخاص ووكالة الغوث. وأوصى الباحثان ببيان دور التربية الرياضيّة المجتمعي والتركيز عليه، وضرورة الاهتمام بدرس التربية الرياضية ومعلمها، وإعطاء هذا التخصص الاهتمام المناسب والمطلوب والتشجيع على دراسته والعمل به.
