Abstract

This research seeks to study the representations and perceptions of the intellectuals in the Arabic novel, especially that the novel began to occupy a remarkable area in the process of the literary works and the ability of the novel to embrace the individual’s concerns in his society and his world. The researcher chooses the novel “Good Palestinian” by the novelist Ali Fouda, because it represents, with the other, a hot stage in the Arab world, in which the structure of the Arab mind has shocked after terrifying and successive defeats. On the other hand, the characters of the novel, most likely, from intellectuals that have a certain ideological ideas partisan- which will be discussed in the body of the research. It should be noted that this novel was not heeded by the scholars, but with transient signals. The current researcher hopes that he will shed light on the data refers to the burden on the intellectual and the obstacles that face the process of the enlightenment in his community and nation. The current researcher also hopes that this research is an episode of other research, which contributes to shed light on the creativity and the actions of the intellectuals as much as possible.

الملخص

يسعى هذا البحث إلى دراسة تمثلات المثقف في الرواية العربية، سيما وأن الرواية راحت تحتل مساحة لافتة في مسيرة الأجناس الأدبية، ولقدرة الرواية على احتضان هموم الإنسان في مجتمعه وكـــونه، وقد وقـع اختياري على روايــة (الفلسطيني الطيب) للروائي (علي فودة)، بوصفها رواية تمثل، مع غيرها، مرحلة ساخنة في الوطن العربي، تلك المرحلة التي تعرضت فيها بنية العقل العربي للصدمة بعد انكسارات متتالية، وهزائم مرعبة، هذا من جهة، ومن جهة أخرى أن شخوص الرواية، على الأغلب، من شريحة المثقفين المنتمين أيديولوجياً لأفكار حزبية معينة، سيـجري الكلام عليـها في متن البحث، ونشير هنا إلى أن هذه الرواية لم يلتفت إليها الدارسون إلا بإشارات عابرة، ويأمل الباحث الحالي تسليط الضؤ على معطيات تشير إلى العبء الذي يقع على المثقف، والعوائق التي تواجهه في مسيرته التنويرية في مجتمعه وامته، كما يأمل أن يكون هذا البحث حلقة من حلقات بحثية أخرى، تسهم في تسليط الضؤ على شريحة المثقفين وعلى إبداعاتهم وأفعالهم ما أمكن إلى ذلك السبيل.
