Abstract
This study has aimed at identifying efficacy of a training program to improve the skills of self-determination and academic achievement among students with learning disabilities. It is a quasi-experimental study. The researcher has prepared a measure of self-determination and applied it to 40 students from students with learning disabilities of the third and fourth grades who are aged (8-10) years of males and females in public schools in Jordan. Individuals of the study have been distributed into two groups: the experimental group and the control group; the study sample has consisted of 20 parents and teachers of students with learning disabilities in the experimental group. The researcher has also prepared a training program based on self-learning model for self-determination (SDLMI). The data have been analyzed and the results have showed a statistically significant differences between the scores of Individuals of study sample for the two groups: experimental and control on a scale of the post self-determination of the self-determination skills favoring the experimental group of students with learning disabilities. Moreover, the results of the study have also showed a statistically significant effect between the scores of Individuals of the study sample for the two groups: experimental; and control on tests of the post academic achievement favoring the experimental group. The results have also pointed out a statistically significant effect between the responses of parents and teachers of students with learning disabilities to measure the post self-determination.

الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى "فاعلية برنامج تدريبي في تحسين مهارات تقرير المصير والتحصيل الأكاديمي لدى الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلّم"، وهي دراسة شبه تجريبية، حيث قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس لتقرير المصير وتطبيقه على 40 طالباً من طلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم للصفين الثالث والرابع الأساسيين والذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين (8-10) سنوات من الذكور والإناث في المدارس الحكومية في الأردن، وتم توزيع أفراد الدراسة إلى مجموعتين: المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة أيضاً من 20 من أولياء الأمور ومعلمي الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم للمجموعة التجريبية، كما أعدت الباحثة برنامجاً تدريبياً بناءً على نموذج التعلم الذاتي لتقرير المصير (SDLMI). وتم تحليل البيانات وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة للمجموعتين: التجريبية؛ والضابطة على مقياس تقرير المصير البعدي لمهارات تقرير المصير لصالح المجموعة التجريبية من طلبة صعوبات التعلم، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية بين درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة للمجموعتين: التجريبية؛ والضابطة على اختبارات التحصيل الأكاديمي البعدي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كما أشارت النتائج أيضاً إلى وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات أولياء أمور ومعلمي الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم لمقياس تقرير المصيرالبعدي.
