Abstract

This study, sought to identify the level of the school social behavior of deaf students in the secondary school in the Gaza Strip, depending on the variables of gender, family structure, and the academic achievement, through a descriptive analytic study of a sample consisted from (63) participants selected randomly from Mustafa Sadiq Rafii Secondary School for the Deaf. Results from the study revealed, a moderate level of the school social behavior among the study sample. In addition, the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the school social behavior attributed in favor to the nuclear family, and moderate and high academic achievement levels. However, the results revealed no statistical significant difference related to gender. In the light of these results and the reviewed literature, the authors suggested some recommendations.
