Abstract

The current study aimed at identifying the effect of religious behavior and its impact on the psychological and social adjustment among deaf people in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study sample was selected purposely to represent all deaf people, consisting of (100) deaf persons equally distributed of male and female persons. In order to verify the objectives of the current study, the researchers used two tools for data collection and to examine hypotheses of the study, namely religious behavior A questionnaire, psychological and social adjustment A questionnaire. The researchers has designed both tools consistent with the purposes of the current study, and verified the validity and reliability of both tools. The researchers have applied the descriptive approach, which deals with current and existing events. The results showed that there was a significant effect of religious behavior in deaf people in the psychological and social adjustment, and the study results also showed the existence of an essential positive effect for these variables in the religious behavior in favor of deaf female in the age group of (21-30 years), respectively. The researchers have concluded a set of recommendations including: the need to find a trend towards religious guidance in guiding persons with various disabilities in order to address the marriage and anxiety problems, future and stability issues, guilt, sexual problems, in order to edit a disabled persons’ feelings of sin, helping them to satisfy their security and stability, psychological and social needs.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة السلوك الديني وأثره على التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي عند الأشخاص الصم في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. من أجل التحقق من أهداف الدراسة، قام الباحثان باستخدام أداتين لجمع البيانات: مقياس السلوك الديني، ومقياس التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي، وتم تصميم المقياسان بما يتفق وأغراض الدراسة، واتُبع في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي الذي يتناول دراسات قائمة وموجودة. هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة السلوك الديني وأثره على التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي عند الأشخاص الصم في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة القصدية (العمدية) بحيث تمثل جميع الأشخاص الصم والتي بلغت مائة شخص من الصم موزعين بالتساوي ذكوراً وإناثاً، ومن أجل التحقق من أهداف الدراسة قام الباحثان باستخدام أداتين لجمع البيانات ولفحص الفرضيات موضع الدراسة: استبيان السلوك الديني، واستبيان التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي، وقاما بتصميم الاستبيانين بما يتفق وأغراض الدراسة، وحصلا على معاملات صدق ثبات جيدة. واتُبع في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي الذي يتناول دراسات وأحداث وظواهر قائمة وموجودة. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن هناك تأثيراً جوهرياً للسلوك الديني لدى الأشخاص الصم في مستوى التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي، وكما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة بوجود تأثير إيجابي جوهري لهذه المتغيرات في السلوك الديني لمصلحة الإناث وللأشخاص الصم في المرحلة العمرية من (21-30 سنة) على الترتيب - حيث استقلال شخصية الأصم وتميزه عن غيره - وانتهى الباحثان إلى عدد من التوصيات منها التوجه نحو الإرشاد الديني في توجيه سلوك الأشخاص المعاقين بمختلف إعاقاتهم، ومعالجة مشكلات الزواج وحالات القلق من المستقبل والاستقرار، والشعور بالذنب، والمشكلات الجنسية، بهدف تحرير الشخص المعاق من مشاعر الإثم والخطيئة، ومساعدتهم على إشباع حاجاتهم للأمن والاستقرار النفسي والاجتماعي.
