Abstract
The present study aimed to identify the effect of the commitment to practical courses on life skills of physical education students at An-Najah national university. To achieve this, the researchers used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data and information. The sample of the study consisted of )100(students (male (55) and female (45)) who were randomly selected. The sample represents )20%( of the total study population of )500(students (Male, Female). After the data collection, the Statistical Package Program (SPSS) was used to analyze the results. The results of the current study showed that the degree of contribution of practical courses in the achievement of life skills was at a very large level of the total score, where the mean was reached ( 4.26 ± 0.41), the results also indicate that there are no statistically significant differences in the contribution of practical courses in the achievement of different life skills according to the gender variable of the students (male, female) and the type of course (group activities, individual activities). The researchers recommend that attention should be given to linking the skills gained from the practical courses with daily life skills, and the need to encourage students to adhere to the practical courses of their importance in the development and development of various life skills.

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف الى درجة مساهمة المساقات العملية في إكساب المهارات الحياتية لطلبة تخصص التربية الرياضية في جامعة النجاح الوطنية، ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم الباحثان الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات والمعلومات حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من الطلبة المسجلين للمساقات العملية، والبالغ عددهم (100) طالب (ذكور (55)، إناث (45) تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية. وتمثل العينة ما نسبته (20%) من مجتمع الدراسة الكلي البالغ عدده (500) طالب وطالبة. بعد جمع البيانات تم استخدام برنامج الرزم الاحصائية (SPSS) لتحليل النتائج. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الحالية الى ان درجة مساهمة المساقات العملية في اكساب المهارات الحياتية كانت بمستوى كبير جدا للدرجة الكلية حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي (4.26 ± 0.41)، كما اشارت النتائج ايضا الى أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بدرجة مساهمة المساقات العملية في اكساب المهارات الحياتية المختلفة تبعا لمتغير جنس الطلبة (ذكر، أنثى) ونوع المساق (أنشطة جماعية، انشطة فردية). ويوصي الباحثان بضرورة الاهتمام بربط المهارات المكتسبة من المساقات العملية بالمهارات الحياتية اليومية، وضرورة تشجيع الطلبة على الالتزام بالمساقات العملية لأهميتها في تنمية وتطوير المهارات الحياتية المختلفة.
