Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of discrimination model in supervision in improving self-efficacy among teacher counselors of UNRWA schools, thirty male and female teacher counselors from south Amman area were assigned to two groups as follows: -The experimental group consisted of fifteen teacher counselors participated in the supervisory program based d aimed at enhancing teacher counselor's self-efficacy. The program consisted of fourteen sessions with two hours for each session, the control group consisted of fifteen teacher counselors, who were not exposed to the program. - Self- Efficacy Scale was developed and used after establishing its validity and reliability. ANCOVA and T-test were used to test the hypothesis of the study. The results of the study showed that the supervisory program based on discrimination model of supervision was effective in enhancing teacher counselor's self- efficacy on posttest. No significant difference was found among the experimental group between posttest and one month- follow up test.the current study recommended to conduct training programs based on supervision models to enhance self-efficacy for teacher counselors.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى فحص مدى فاعلية النموذج التمايزي في الإشراف في تحسين الكفاءة الذاتية المُدرَكة لدى المعلمين المرشدين في مدارس وكالة الغوث الدولية، حيث بلغ عدد أفراد الدراسة المشاركين (30) معلماً مرشداً ومعلمة مرشدة من المعلمين المرشدين في منطقة جنوب عمان التابعة لوكالة الغوث الدولية في الأردن، وقد تم توزيع أفراد الدراسة عشوائياً وبالتساوي إلى مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة. تلقى أفراد المجموعة التجريبية تدريباً على البرنامج الإشرافي بهدف تحسين الكفاءة الذاتية المُدرَكة، وقد تم تطوير برنامج إشرافي يتبع للنموذج التمايزي ومقياس للكفاءة الذاتية المُدرَكة. وتم استخدام التحليل الإحصائي (ANCOVA) واختبار (ت). حيث أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستويات الكفاءة الذاتية المُدرَكة، ما بين متوسطات درجات أفراد المجموعتين لصالح أفراد المجموعة التجريبية بالقياس البعدي. وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستويات الكفاءة الذاتية المُدرَكة لدى أفراد المجموعة التجريبية بين القياس البعدي وقياس المتابعة. وأوصت الدراسة الحالية بضرورة تصميم برامج تدريبية وفق النماذج الإشرافية المختلفة، لتحسين الكفاءة الذاتية في الإرشاد لدى المعلمين المرشدين، وتطبيقها للكشف عن أثرها في تحسين الكفاءة الذاتية في الإرشاد.
