Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the degree of effectiveness of the training program in the development of supervisors' competencies from their own perspective through using the descriptive method. The study tool consisted of (39) items distributed to the two domains of supervisors' work which are the administrative and technical. The study sample was (55) supervisors working at UNRWA centers in Jordan. The study revealed that the degree of educational supervisors’ appreciation of the effectiveness of a training program in the development of technical and administrative competencies was moderate. There was no significant difference attributed to sex or stage of supervision on the degree of supervisors' recognition of the effectiveness of the training program that implemented by UNRWA.
