Abstract

The study sought to identify the level of acceptance of music education teachers for necessity of developing social interaction skills among Jordanian students based on Carl Orff’s approach. The study population consists of all (350) male and female music education teachers for the primary stage in the public and private schools. To answer the research question, the study collected data by distributing a questionnaire that consists of (50) clauses. The results show that there is a great necessity for applying the social interaction skills among Jordanian students based on Carl Orff’s approach at the basic stage according to their music teachers where the arithmetic mean was (4.08) the standard deviation was (0.53), and all the clauses were in high level. In light of those results, the study concluded a number of recommendations, such as: - Activation of Carl Orff’s approach in music education in public and private schools, furthermore providing all available tools to conduct the education process.

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف درجة تقبل معلمي التربية الموسيقية لضرورة تنمية مهارات التفاعل الاجتماعي لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية في الأردن استناداً إلى منهجية كارل أورف، وتكوَن أفراد الدراسة من جميع معلمي ومعلمات التربية الموسيقية للمرحلة الأساسية العاملين في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة في الأردن، والبالغ عددهم (350) معلماً ومعلمة. ولجمع بيانات الدراسة وتحقيق غرضها تمَ تطوير استبانة، تكونت من (50) فقرة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة تقبل معلمي التربية الموسيقية لضرورة تنمية مهارات التفاعل الاجتماعي لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية في الأردن استناداً إلى منهجية كارل أورف على نحوٍ عام كانت مرتفعة؛ إذ بلغ المتوسط الحسابي (4.08) وبلغ الانحراف المعياري (0.53)، وكانت درجة جميع الفقرات مرتفعة، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج خلصت الدراسة إلى عدداً من التوصيات، من بينها: تفعيل منهجية كارل أورف في التربية الموسيقية في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة، وتوفير كافة الأدوات والسبل الممكنة لسير العملية التعليمية.
