This study highlights the magnitude of the crime that many Palestinian generations who live within Green Line have been exposed to since 1948. The image of the founders of the Islamic civilization, the Companions of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), suffered from misrepresentation, with the aim of ruining the Arab-Islamic identity. This study dealt first with the status of the Companions and the great position they occupy. It also covered the various forms of insulting them, and the Islamic religious rulings regarding these insults. In addition, this study discuss the Companions’ image in Atallah Qibti’s book, The Political History of the Arabs. This book is imposed as curriculum by the Israeli Ministry of Education on Arab schools for the tenth grade, which is a critical stage in education. This study objectively critiques sample images of Companions as presented in the latter book.

تُبرِز هذه الدراسةُ حجم الجناية التي تعرضت لها أجيالٌ من أبناء الشعب العربي الفلسطيني المسلم في داخل فلسطين منذ عام 1948م، ومدى التشويه الذي لحق بأصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، روّاد الحضارة الإسلامية بهدف مسخ الهوية العربية الإسلامية. وتناول البحث في بدايته مكانة الصحابة، وعدالتهم، وتعظيم قدرهم، وحكم سبّهم، وأشكال السبّ لهم، كما تناول صورتهم في مناهج التعليم المفروضة على المدارس العربية في الداخل الفلسطيني، من خلال كتابٍ له أهميتُه، لمرحلةٍ تعليميةٍ لها خطورتها؛ الكتاب بعنوان "تاريخ العرب السياسي" لمؤلفه عطا الله قبطي والمرحلةُ التعليمية هي؛ الصف العاشر. وقد تناول البحث نماذج من صور الصحابة في هذا الكتاب، مع نقدها ودحضها بمنهج علمي.
