This study aims at being acquainted with relationship of certain physical characters and anthropometric measurements with performance of Javelin throwing Event. All individuals of 30 players in the study community, who participated in King Hussein Sport Championship for power games where selected. A group of physical measurements relating to heights and perimeter were carried out along with a group of examinations measuring power of the fist and running (30 m) and jumping from stability, were the descriptive statistics, turning coefficient and correlation coefficient were used. Results of the study indicate that there is a relationship with statistical significance between both the following anthropometric and physical measurements (height, length trunk, length of arm, length of forearm, length of leg, length of thigh, length of shank, perimeter of chest, perimeter of forearm, perimeter of upper arm, perimeter of shank and jumping from stability and performance level of Javelin throwing. There is no correlation between the following physical and anthropometric measurements (fist power, running 30 m), perimeter of thigh, length of palm of the hand) and performance level of lance throwing. The researcher recommends asserting importance of the producing development of necessary physical fitness and interesting in training programs and the anthropometric and physical measurements.

هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف إلى علاقة بعض الصفات البدنية، والقياسات الانثروبومترية بمستوى الانجاز بفعالية رمي الرمح. حيث تم اختيار عينة الدراسة من جميع أفراد مجتمع الدراسة، والبالغ عددهم (30) لاعباً، الذين شاركوا في بطولة الملك الحسين الرياضية لألعاب القوى، وتم إجراء مجموعة من القياسات الانثروبومترية المتعلقة بالأطوال والمحيطات، كذلك مجموعة من الاختبارات التي تقيس قوة القبضة، والعدو (30م)، والوثب من الثبات حيث تم استخدام الإحصاء الوصفي، ومعامل الالتواء ومعامل الارتباط. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود علاقة ارتباط ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مستوى الانجاز لفعالية رمي الرمح وكل من القياسات الانثروبومترية والبدنية التالية: ( الطول، طول الجذع، طول الذراع، طول الساعد، طول الرجل، طول الفخذ، طول الساق، محيط الصدر، محيط الساعد، محيط العضد، محيط الساق، الوثب من الثبات). بينما لا توجد علاقة ارتباط بين مستوى الانجاز لرمي الرمح وكل من القياسات البدنية والانثروبومترية التالية: (قوة القبضة، عدو(30م)، محيـط الفخذ، طـول الكف). وأوصى الباحث الاهتمام بالقياسات الانثروبومترية والبدنية. والبرامج التدريبية لما لهما من أهمية في إنتاج، وتطوير عناصر اللياقة البدنية الضرورية.
