This study aims to examine the efficiency of the method used by sport federations to select their members, and consequently to show the impact of member's experience, and job description factors on the criteria. The study sample contained (41 persons) from a total number of 535 persons in the population in media, the higher council, and sport clubs sectors, who are related to the sport federations in particular. In order to collect the data, the researchers have developed a tool on the form of a questionnaire, which consists of two major parts, the first is associated with personal information and the second part is related to additional attributes which are combined in this study. The research results are as follows:
- The efficiency of the sport federation in selecting their members is extremely low.
- The statistics have revealed that experienced people factor according to the higher council and media has the highest weight. In order to conclude, the researchers have recommended to continue with this study and to conduct more research and studies on sport federations, in order to improve their efficiency. The researchers also recommend that the statistics and the results of this research must be published and sent to the Olympic comity.

هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مدى فاعلية نظام الاتحادات الرياضية في اختيار أعضائه، وبيان أثر كل من متغيرات سنوات الخبرة نوع الوظيفة على اختيار أعضاء الاتحادات الرياضية. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (41) شخصا تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العمدية من مجتمع الدراسة والذي تكون من جميع العاملين في مجال الصحافة والمجلس الأعلى والأندية والذين لهم علاقة بالاتحادات الرياضية والبالغ عددهم (535) فرداً. ولجمع بيانات هذه الدراسة قام الباحثان بتصميم أداة تكونت من قسمين، الأول يتضمن، المعلومات الشخصية، والثاني يتضمن: المتغيرات التابعة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: جاءت جميع مجالات الدراسة بدرجة فاعلية قليلة جداً وعلى جميع محاور الدراسة مما يدل على خلل واضح في النظام. وكذلك أشارت النتائج إلى فروق دالة إحصائيا بين فئتي موظفي المجلس الأعلى للشباب ورجال الإعلام ولصالح الخبرة الأكبر في الفئتين .وكذلك جاء ترتيب المجالات حسب درجة الفاعلية علـى النحـو التالــي (التخطيط، الاتصال والتفاعل، التنظيم، التقويم، التنفيذ).
- وقد أوصى الباحثان بإجراء المزيد من الدراسات على الاتحادات الرياضية وأوصى الباحثان بضرورة تعميمها على الاتحادات الرياضية واللجنة الأولمبية لمعالجة الخلل الحاصل في هذا النظام.
