This study aimed at exploring the attitudes of An-Najah students towards their faculty members on one hand and the predictions of their achievement on the other due the variables of the study are gender, cumulative average, and type of college. To achieve this purpose the researchers constructed a questionnaire of (30) items. The validity examined, and the reliability of the questionnaire was tested using Cronbach -Alpha which gave result between (0.67-0.94). The sample of study consisted of (457) students (219) males and (238) females. To answer the study questions the researchers used means, standard deviations, percentile, and other non-parametric statistical methods. The results of the study showed that the students’ attitudes towards their faculty members were positive while their attitudes towards human and professional traits were less positive. It also showed that gender and college type were statistically significant, but there were no significant differences due to other variables. A number of recommendations were put forth. For instance; increasing interaction opportunity between students and their faculty members through workshops, providing the faculty members with new professional development programs.

هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرّف إلى اتجاهات طلبة جامعة النجاح الوطنية نحو أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية من جهة، والتنبؤ بتحصيلهم الدراسي، في ضوء متغيرات الجنس، والمعدل التراكمي، والكلية، ولتحقيق هذا الغرض تم بناء أداة في الاتجاهات تكونت صورتها النهائية من (30) فقرة، إذ تم فحص مؤشرات الصدق والثبات، وتراوحت معاملات الثبات بين (0.67 – 0.94)، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (457) طالباً وطالبة منهم (219) طالباً و(238) طالبة. وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة تم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية والنسب المئوية وبعض الاختبارات الإحصائية اللامعلمية، وأسفرت الدراسة عن نتائج عديدة أهمها؛ أن اتجاهات طلبة جامعة النجاح الوطنية نحو أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية كانت إيجابية، كما أن الطلبة يحملون اتجاهات أقل إيجابية نحو السمات الإنسانية والمهنية لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بالمقارنة مع الاتجاهات نحو أساليب التدريس والأدوار التي يلعبها أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية، وكان لمتغيري الجنس والكلية تأثيرهما في الاتجاهات نحو أعضاء هيئة التدريس، أما باقي المتغيرات فلم تؤثر في الاتجاهات، وأوصى الباحثان عدة توصيات منها؛ ضرورة تفعيل الاتصال بين أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والطلبة، وحث أعضاء هيئة التدريس على الاهتمام بالجانب الإنساني عند التفاعل مع الطلبة، وتزويد أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بفرص لتحقيق تطورهم المهني.
