Abstract

This study aims at examining the Discriminate significances of the variables (Student's Learning Motivation, Student's Social Adaptation, Student's Academic Self-Esteem) according to their ability to discriminate between normal and disable students of third grade, to achieve the aim of the study some instruments were prepared namely: the scale of student's learning motivation, student's social adaptation, student's academic self-esteem. The sample was selected randomly from the first and fourth educational directorates. In the city of Amman, moreover, the sample consisted of (150) male and female students of normal abilities. And (150) male and female students with learning disabilities. The discriminate analysis was used via (The Statistical Package of Social Science- SPSS) in order to find results. The results pointed out that there is a positive correlation and statically significant between Learning Motivation and Social Adaptation in addition to a positive correlation and statically significant at the level of Social Adaptation and Academic Self-Esteem concept. The study shows that the three measurements can discriminate between normal students with learning disabilities. Consequently, the results of the study pointed out that the three measurements cannot discriminate between students with learning disabilities according to the variable such as (student's gender, order of birth, father's education level, mother's education level). In light of the results reached by the researcher recommended a number of recommendations were to conduct further studies on the metrics and three other samples to confirm their ability to distinguish between ordinary students and those with learning difficulties. And use these standards in the early detection of people with learning difficulties. And taking into account the sex variable because these standards were of a discriminatory capacity greater for males. And working to develop motivation to learn and adapt to social and academic self-concept because of the value of distinguishing between children with learning difficulties and ordinary. As well as further studies to extract the implications of validity and reliability of new about the tools derived in the present study.

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف إلى الدلالات التمييزية لمتغيرات (الدافعية للتعلم، مفهوم الذات الأكاديمي، التكيف الاجتماعي) تبعا لقدرتها على اكتشاف مشكلة صعوبات التعلم لدى طلاب الصف الثالث الأساسي. شملت عينة الدراسة (300) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي في مديريتي عمان الأولى والرابعة، حيث كان (150) منهم من ذوي صعوبات التعلم، في حين كان (150) طالبا وطالبة من الطلبة العاديين. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام ثلاثة مقاييس تمثلت بمقياس الدافعية للتعلم، ومقياس التكيف الاجتماعي، بالإضافة إلى مقياس مفهوم الذات الأكاديمي. وقد استخدمت الدراسة الحالية المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي. وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود ارتباط إيجابي ودال إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0,05) بين الدافعية للتعلم ودرجة التكيف الاجتماعي، كذلك وجود ارتباط ايجابي ودال إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0,05) بين الدافعية للتعلم ومفهوم الذات الأكاديمي، إضافة إلى وجود ارتباط ايجابي ودال إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0,05) بين التكيف الاجتماعي ومفهوم الذات الأكاديمي. كما أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن المقاييس الثلاثة قادرة على التمييز بين الأطفال العاديين وذوي صعوبات التعلم، وكانت القدرة التمييزية لصالح الذكور أكثر من الإناث. كما أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم قدرة المقاييس الثلاثة على التمييز بين الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم تبعا لكل من متغيرات (الجنس، والترتيب الولادي، والمستوى التعليمي للأب، والمستوى التعليمي للأم). وفي ضوء النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها أوصت الباحثة بعدد من التوصيات تمثلت في إجراء المزيد من الدراسات على المقاييس الثلاثة وعلى عينات أخرى لتأكيد قدرتها على التمييز بين الطلبة العاديين وذوي صعوبات التعلم. واستخدام هذه المقاييس في الكشف المبكر عن ذوي صعوبات التعلم. والأخذ بعين الاعتبار متغير الجنس لان هذه المقاييس كانت ذات قدرة تمييزية بشكل اكبر لصالح الذكور. والعمل على تنمية الدافعية للتعلم والتكيف الاجتماعي ومفهوم الذات الأكاديمي لما لها من قيمة فارقة بين الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم والعاديين. وكذلك إجراء مزيد من الدراسات لاستخراج دلالات صدق وثبات جديدة حول الأدوات المستخرجة في الدراسة الحالية.
