The purpose of the study was to identity the dimension of Locus Control and its relation with personality profile of first division teamhandball players. Subject were (n=84) team handball players were selected randomly from division clubs in Jordan. The researchers used Freiburg Personality Inventory (FPI) for personality profile which includes (56) items divided into eight subscales. and locus control questionnaire which includes (19) items divided into two dimensions. Descriptive statistics were employed using (SPSS). The results showed subjects personality profile were affected by intrinsic locus control, (colum and social) also the results showed positive correlation between intrinsic locus control and calm and social profile, and found apposite correlation with aggression and nervousness.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أبعاد مركز التحكم وعلاقته بالسمات الشخصية ضمن مقياس فرايبورج لدى لاعبي أندية الدرجة الأولى لكرة اليد في الأردن ومدى ارتباط أبعاد مركز التحكم بالسمات الشخصية، تكونت عينه الدراسة من (84) لاعباً تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية من أندية الدرجة الأولى في الأردن، استخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي بإستخدام مقياس فرايبورج للسمات الشخصية المكون من (56) فقره موزعة على ثمانية محاور، واستبيان مركز التحكم المكون من (19) فقرة توزعت على بعدين، وتم معالجة البيانات من خلال برنامج SPSS، أظهرت النتائج بأن السمات الشخصية لإفراد العينة تأثرت ببعد مركز التحكم الداخلي حيث اتصفت السمات الشخصية بالهدوء والاجتماعية، ووجود علاقة ارتباطيه طردية موجبه بين مركز التحكم الداخلي وسمتي الهدوء والاجتماعية وعلاقة عكسية مع سمتي العصبية والعدوانية.
