This research aims "to activate the lesson of expression and methods of teaching" to examine the importance of the lesson of expression and how to manage and enrich، and study the types of expression and methods of teaching، then refer to some of the methods that contribute to the activation of the lesson of expression، as story، drama، and the summary which have not received adequate attention of the lesson expression and practical application in the curriculum of Arabic language and amongst it’s teachers. This approach followed the descriptive study of oral and written expression، and present some methods that contribute to the activation of the lesson of expression. This research consists of two sides: The first administration of the lesson of expression. And included a definition of the expression language idiomatically، and the importance of expression، oral expression، written expression. the second is the methods of activating the lesson of expression. And included a story، and drama (acting) and the summary. The answer came to the set of results was the most important: Expression of great importance in understanding and communication and the strengthening of intellectual and social links between members of society. Of the benefits of the division of the subject expression to the oral and written skill development research، and increase the culture of the student and the mitigation of the burden of the teacher in writing.

يهدف هذا البحث "تفعيل حصة التعبير وأساليب تدريسها" إلى دراسة أهمية حصة التعبير وكيفية إدارتها وإثرائها، ودراسة أنواع التعبير وطرق تدريسها، ثم الوقوف على بعض الأساليب التي تسهم في تفعيل حصة التعبير، كأسلوب القصة، والدراما، والتلخيص. إذ لم تلق حصة التعبير الاهتمام الكافي والتطبيق العملي في مناهج العربية وعند معلميها. وسار هذا البحث وفق المهج الوصفي في دراسة التعبير الشفهي والكتابي، وفي عرض بعض الأساليب التي تسهم في تفعيل حصة التعبير. ويتألف هذا البحث من مبحثين: الأول: إدارة حصة التعبير. واشتمل على تعريف التعبير لغة واصطلاحا، وأهمية التعبير، والتعبير الشفهي، والتعبير الكتابي. الثاني: أساليب تفعيل حصة التعبير. واشتمل على القصة، والدراما (التمثيل) والتلخيص. وانتهى البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان أهمها: ـ للتعبير أهمية كبيرة في التفاهم والتواصل وتقوية الروابط الفكرية والاجتماعية بين أفراد المجتمع. ـ من فوائد تقسيم موضوع التعبير إلى شفهي وكتابي تنمية مهارة البحث، وزيادة ثقافة الطالب والتخفيف من أعباء المعلم الكتابية.
