Abstract
This study aimed to know the extent to which Islamic education teachers in the Sultanate of Oman use some verbal and non-verbal communication skills in the light of some of the variables. To achieve this. an observation sheet consisting of (36) items within the two axes represent these skills was used. After establishing its validity and reliability. it was applied to a sample of (36) teachers. Among the most prominent results of the study were: - The non-verbal communication skills dimension got the degree of the use of medium (64%). - The verbal communication skills dimension got a low degree of use (48%). - There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the degree of Islamic education teachers use of verbal and non-verbal variables communication skills depending that might be due to the type. and the subject of the lesson. - There is significant differences due to the grade level in the pivotal communication skills. verbal and non-verbal. and on the observation checklist as a whole for the benefit of teachers of fifth grade. As to the experience variable in verbal communication skills. the benefit was for the less experienced teachers.

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف مدى استخدام معلمي التربية الإسلامية في سلطنة عمان مهارات الاتصال اللفظية وغير اللفظية في ضوء بعض المتغيرات. ولتحقيق ذلك تم إعداد بطاقة ملاحظة تكونت من (36) فقرة ضمن محورين يمثلان هذه المهارات. وبعد التأكد مـن صدقها وثباتها طبقت على عينة مـن المعلمين بلغ عددهم (36) معلماً ومعلمة. ومن أبرز النتائج التي أسفرت عنها الدراسة: - حصول محور مهارات التواصل غير اللفظية على درجة استخدام متوسطة بلغت (64%). - حصول محور مهارات التواصل اللفظية على درجة استخدام منخفضة بلغت (48%). - عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α =0.05) في درجة استخدام معلمي التربية الإسلامية لمهارات التواصل اللفظية وغير اللفظية تبعاً لمتغيري النوع ، وموضوع الدرس. - وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعاً لمتغير الصف في محوري مهارات التواصل اللفظية، وغير اللفظية، وعلى البطاقة ككل لصالح معلمي الصف الخامس. وتبعاً لمتغير الخبرة في مهارات التواصل اللفظية لصالح ذوي الخبرة القليلة .
