Although many studies have been written about the companions - Sahaba, in ancient and currant time, still there are many aspects of their lives, have not yet been subjected to sufficient scientific inquiry, where people of deviation and fads, penetrate to slander the noble Companions. This research deals with the death of Caliph Uthman bin Affan, God bless him, from only one side - Abdul Rahman bin Odais al Balawi, the study finds that he didn’t participate neither in the siege nor in the killing of Caliph Uthman. And thus clarifying the historical view and refuting the untruths of deviated people.

على الرغم من كثرة الدراسات التي كُتبت عن الصحابة ـ رضي الله عنهم ـ، في القديم والحديث، إلا أنّ هناك مواطن في حياتهم، لم تَنَل حظها مِن التحقيق العلمي، والتي مِن خلالها يَنفذ أَهل البدع والانحراف، للطعن في الصحابة الكرام، ويأتي هذا البحث العلمي، لتناول قصة مقتل الخليفة الراشد عثمان بن عفان ـ رضي الله عنه ـ ولكن مِن جانب واحد فقط، من ناحية عبد الرحمن بن عُديس البلوي، وتتوصل الدراسة إلى عدم مشاركته، في الخروج من مصر لحصار الخليفة عثمان، ولا المشاركة في قتله. وبذلك تتضح الصورة التاريخية وتندفع أباطيل أهل البدع والإنحراف.
