This research aims at emphasizing one important aspect which didn't attract both Arab and western researchers and historians attention specially the matters concerning the role of European Women in the First Crusade (1095l/488). The researcher tried hard to emphasize and spot the light on this subject and to draw a clear picture about it – to some extend – through some recites in the Arabic and in Arabic references which are a available on accepting the invitation of Pop Urban II for that campaign and their contribution in that campaign was unavoidable although some available resources indicate that the Pop anouncenced included ordering women not to contribute in the campaign and to stay in their home land – Europe – so as to be an obstacle in front of realizing the Crusader Project of controlling the Holy Land. All this Preparation for the Project conceded with rehabilitating women in various Professions, specially the humanitarian which included preparing food nursing soldiers who mostly experienced extreme fatigue because of far distances, rough terrain and different weather or who were injured during the battles with enemies. Some of the women didn't hesitate to bear arms build towers and use other siege methods , especially during the firm siege round the Holy City and their active contribution in capturing it and killing its peaceful citizens in its roads and paths , and then to become the base for the Crusade Kingdom.

يعالج هذا البحث واحداً من الموضوعات المهمة التي لم تنل اهتمام الباحثين والمؤرخين العرب والغربيين على حد سواء، وبخاصة في الجانب الذي يتعلق بدور النساء الأوروبيات في الحملة الصليبيّة الأولى (488هـ/ 1095م)، وقد حاول الباحث جاهداً تسليط الضوء على هذا الموضوع وتكوين صورة واضحة عنه – إلى حد ما – من خلال بعض الإشارات الواردة في المصادرة العربية وغير العربية المتوافرة حول تلبية مجموعات منهن لدعوة "البابا أربان الثاني" Pop Urban II لتلك الحملة، وأن مشاركتهن فيها كانت ضرورة لا غنى عنها، على الرغم من أن بعض المصادر المتوافرة تشير إلى أن خطاب البابا تضمن دعوة النساء بعدم الخروج مع الحملة والبقاء في بلادهن أوروبا، خشية أن يشكل ذلك عائقاً أمام تحقيق المشروع الصليبي بالسيطرة على الأرض المقدسة. فقد تزامن مع الإعداد للمشروع الاستيطاني الجديد تأهيل للنساء في مختلف الحرف وبخاصة الإنسانية التي شملت إعداد الطعام وتقديم العناية الصحية للجيوش التي تعرض كثير من أفرادها للتعب الشديد والإرهاق، بسبب طول المسافة ووعورة الطرق واختلاف الظروف ومداواة الجرحى في أثناء المعارك مع خصومهم. ولم يتردد بعضهن عن حمل السلاح وبناء الأبراج وآلات الحصار الأخرى وبخاصة في أثناء تشديد الحصار الصليبي للمدينة المقدسة ومساهمتهن الفاعلة في استباحتها وإراقة دماء سكانها الآمنين في أزقتها وشوارعها، لتغدو بعد ذلك قاعدة للمملكة الصليبيّة.
