Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the extent to which the textbooks of Islamic Education contain affection values for the secondary stage. The study sample consisted of all Islamic Education textbooks for the first and second secondary grades in Jordan for the scholastic year 2013- 2014. To answer the questions, the descriptive method was used and the content analysis list was built, which consisted of three sectors (The affection values related to faith and worships, the affection values connected with the school and family, the affection values connected with the state and public order) and the paragraph was used as a unit for analysis. The study results showed that the affection values connected with faith and worships in the textbooks of the study sample ranked first. Furthermore the affection values connected with the state and public order ranked second followed by the affection values connected with the family and school which ranked third. And the highest frequencies were for the affection values for the affection for justice and equality, then the affection for Quran followed by the affection for Islamic scholars. Whereas nine areas in the affection values has not received any repetitions and they are the affection values of angels, fasting, zakkah, pilgrimage, teachers, friendship, cleanliness, homeland and neighbors. The study has provided a set of recommendations that would develop the Islamic Education textbooks in the secondary stage in Jordan.

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى تضمّن كتب التربية الإسلامية في المرحلة الثانوية لقيم المحبَّة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة التي تمَّ تحليلها من كتب الثقافة الإسلامية للصفين الأول والثاني الثانوي، المقررة في الأردن للعام 2013-2014م. وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة، تمَّ استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وبناء قائمة تحليل المحتوى، والتي تكونت من ثلاثة مجالات هي: (قيم المحبَّة المتعلقة بالعقيدة والعبادات، قيم المحبَّة المتعلقة بالمدرسة والأسرة، قيم المحبَّة المتعلقة بالدولة والنظام)، وكانت الفقرة وحدة للتحليل. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى حصول مجال قيم المحبَّة المتعلقة بالعقيدة والعبادات على المرتبة الأولى، ثمَّ مجال قيم المحبَّة المتعلقة بالدولة والنظام، وفي المرتبة الثالثة جاء مجال قيم المحبَّة المتعلقة بالأسرة والمدرسة. وإنَّ أعلى تكرارات لقيم المحبَّة كانت لقيم محبَّة العدل والمساواة، ثمَّ محبَّة القرآن الكريم، ثمَّ محبَّة العلماء، وأنَّ هنالك (9) قيم لم تحصل على أيّ تكرار، وهي قيم محبَّة: الملائكة، الصوم، الزكاة، الحج، المعلم، الصداقة والأصدقاء، النظافة، الوطن، الجار. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات التي من شأنها تطوير كتب التربية الإسلامية للمرحلة الثانوية في الأردن.
