This study aimed at identifying the difficulties and problems that face drama and theater students at Yarmouk University. The population of the study included all drama and theater students in the Faculty of Fine Arts for the academic year 2013-2014, whose number was 270 male and female students who were randomly selected. The researcher used a questionnaire that consists of 45 items distributed on a three dimensions: the religious, the social and the academic dimensions. Each dimension includes 15 item of the overall questionnaire. The present researcher has conducted reliability and validity correlation for the questionnaire, where it scored 0.86, thus registering an acceptable percent suitable for academic research. The results have revealed some difficulties with a high level for drama and Fine Arts students in general and for drama and theater students in particular. The researcher recommended that much care should be given to solve such problems that face students of drama and theater at Yarmouk University in their scientific and practical lives. Also, he recommended holding workshops in these areas to increase the awareness of the civil community about the significance of drama for both the individual and community, as well.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة الصعوبات والمشكلات التي تواجه طلبة قسم الدراما والمسرح في جامعة اليرموك، تَكّون مجتمع الدراسة من جمـيع طلبة قسم الدراما والمسرح في كلية الفنون الجميلة للعام الدراسي (2013-2014)، والبالـغ عددهـم (270) طالباً وطالبة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (120) طالباً وطالبة، تّم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية من طلبة قسم الدراما والمسرح في كلية الفنون الجميلة، واستخدمَ الباحث استبانة مكونة من (45) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة محاور رئيسية المحور الديني، الاجتماعي، الأكاديمي، بحيث يضم كل محور (15) فقرة من فقرات الاستبانة الكلي، وأجرى الباحث معامل الصدق والثبات لأداة الدراسة حيث بلغ معامل الثبات للأداة (0.86) وهي نسبة مقبولة لأغراض البحث العلمي. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة على الأداة الكلية بوجود صعوبات ومشكلات بدرجة مرتفعة لطلبة قسم الدراما والمسرح، وأوصى الباحث بضرورة الاهتمام بطلبة الفنون بشكل عام والمسرح بشكل خاص والعمل على حل المشكلات والصعوبات التي تواجههم في حياتهم العلمية والعملية، وعقد ورشات توعوية لمؤسسات المجتمع المدني تبين أهمية الدراما والمسرح بالنسبة للفرد والمجتمع معاً.
