This study aims to evaluate the French language program at the University of Jordan from students perspective. The study participants consisted of (102) students were chosen purposefully who have shown interest to participate in this study. To collect quantity and quality data and information for this study, the researcher developed a questionnaire consisted of (35) items. The validity and reliability of the study instrument have been confirmed before implementing it. Means, standard deviations, percentages, Analysis of Variance and Tukey Test for post comparisons were used to answer the study questions. The results showed that the students’ estimations for the French language program at the University of Jordan was moderate on all components (the philosophy of the program, its goals, the study plan, services and facilities, teaching and evaluation methods). The results also indicated that there are statistically significant differences in students’ evaluation of the program due to the stage of education. Moreover, the results pointed out to a number of suggestions and improvements of the French language program at the University of Jordan. The most important ones focused on French conversation and the development of teaching methods. In light of these findings, the researcher recommends to continue to offer French language program at the University of Jordan.

تهدف الدراسة الحالية الى الكشف عن التقديرات التقويمية لبرنامج اللغة الفرنسية وآدابها بالجامعة الاردنية من وجهة نظر الطلبة. تكون افراد الدراسة (102) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة البرنامج تم اختيارهم بالطريقة القصدية ممن ابدوا اهتماما للمشاركة في هذه الدراسة. ولجمع بيانات ومعلومات الدراسة الكمية والنوعية، قامت الباحثة بتطوير استبانة تكونت من (35) فقرة، وقد تم التاكد من صدقها وثباتها قبل تطبيقها. ولتحليل بيانات هذه الدراسة، استخدمت المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية، والنسب المئوية وتحليل التباين الاحادي وااختبار توكي للمقارنات البعدية. بينت النتائج ان التقديرات التقويمية لطلبة برنامج اللغة الفرنسية في الجامعة الاردنية كانت متوسطة على جميع مجالات التقويم (فلسفة البرنامج واهدافه, والخطة الدراسية, والخدمات والتسهيلات, وطرائق التدريس, وطرائق التقويم), واشارت نتائج الدراسة ايضا الى وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في درجات تقويم الطلبة للبرنامج تعزى للمرحلة التعليمية, كذلك اشارت النتائج الى عدد من المقترحات والتحسينات لبرنامج اللغة الفرنسية في الجامعة الاردنية كان من اهمها طرح مواد تركز على المحادثة باللغة الفرنسية وتطوير الاساليب التدريسية والتقويمية للطلبة. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، توصي الباحثة بالاستمرار في تقديم برنامج اللغة الفرنسية في الجامعة الاردنية.
