The study aimed to identify the patterns of social upbringing and its relationship to the dimension of locus of control for Among Youth Jordan Stars Sporting Club Players basketball, whereas the searcher used the descriptive approach for its suitability for the study kind.the sample of study consists of (40) juvenile player where randomly selected, and he used the questionnaire to measure the dimensions of the locus of control which is prepared and designed by khaza'leh et al (2012), and he used a questionnaire to measure the patterns of social upbringing designed by Al Raqab& Al Zyood (2008), and the result reached that the patterns of the positive upbringing are the dominant, where it was with a high degree of practice and the locus of control with interior dimension is the widespread belief for the juveniles of basketball, in addition to positive proportional correlation relationship between the interior locus of control and the positive patterns of social upbringing and inverse relationship with the patterns of negative upbringing, and one of the most important recommendations making educational seminars for the parents to increase their awareness of the importance of the social upbringing Familiarize them with the negative and positive patterns and their impact on the person's future character and emphasis on psychological in preparation and qualification for the basketball juveniles programs .

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى أنماط التنشئة الإجتماعية وعلاقتها بأبعاد مركز التحكم لدى ناشئي نادي نجوم الأردن في كرة السلة، حيث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته لطبيعة الدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (40) لاعب ناشئ تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية، وقد استخدم الباحث لقياس أبعاد مركز التحكم الاستبيان المعد والمصمم من قبل (Khaza'leh et al, 2012) ولقياس أنماط التنشئة الاجتماعية استخدم الباحث الاستبيان المعد والمصمم من قبل (Alragab & Alzyood, 2008). وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة الى أن انماط التنشئة الايجابية هي السائدة حيث كانت على درجة مرتفعة من الممارسة وان مركز التحكم ذو البعد الداخلي هو الاعتقاد السائد لدى ناشئي كرة السلة، بالاضافة الى وجود علاقة ارتباطيه طردية موجبه بين مركز التحكم الداخلي وانماط التنشئة الاجتماعية الايجابية و علاقة عكسية مع انماط التنشئة السلبية، وكانت من أهم التوصيات عمل ندوات تثقيفية للوالدين لزيادة وعيهم بأهمية التنشئة الاجتماعية وتعريفهم بالانماط السلبية والايجابية ومدى تأثيرها على شخصية الفرد المستقبلية والتأكيد على الاعداد النفسي في برامج إعداد وتأهيل ناشئي كرة السلة.
