This research paper presents a brief description of the author and the subject of the novel, and then highlights the most prominent features of semiotics as a critical vision. Then he moves to identify the revealing symbols implies the names of the main characters in the novel, ranging from the most prominent characters, then moves to the major and minor characters. He ends this paper with a conclusion showing the main findings he reached. The research adopted an analytical approach based on semiotics as a method to reconcile between analytical and semantic.

يتناول هذا البحث بعد المقدمة تعريفا موجزا بالكاتب وموضوع الرواية، ثم يبين أبرز ملامح السيميائية بوصفها رؤية نقدية، لينتقل بعدها إلى قراءة أسماء الأعلام في الرواية قراءة سيميائية، متوقفا عند أبرز الشخصيات فيها، بدءاً من الشخصيات الرئيسة ثم المساندة ثم الثانوية، ويحللها سيميائيا. وينتهي بخاتمة تبين أبرز ما توصل إليه من نتائج. ويتخذ البحث المنهج التحليلي المستند إلى الرؤية السيميائية منهجاً له؛ ليوائم بين التحليلية والسيميائية.
