The study aimed to identify the relativity significance of Sternberg's thinking styles of Gaza University students, to identify the significant differences in the styles under study, related gender and academic program. The study sample consisted of (213) students with the application of Sternberg's model of thinking styles after verifying validity of the model. The results of the study showed the following: The most common style for students is the judicial style, while the least common style is conservative. Also there were significant differences in the anarchic, hierarchical for males, and executive style for females. There were significant differences in legislative, executive, global and local styles for undergraduate students, while in the anarchism and liberalism styles for students of intermediate studies.

هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على الأهمية النسبية لأنماط التفكير لقائمة ستيرنبرغ لدى طلبة جامعة غزة، مع التعرف على الفروق المعنوية في أنماط التفكير موضع الدراسة؛ تعزى لمتغيري: النوع، والبرنامج الأكاديمي. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (213) طالبًا وطالبة، طُبقت عليهم قائمة نموذج ستيرنبرغ لأنماط التفكير بعد التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وقد بينت نتائج الدراسة ما يلي: أن أكثر الأنماط شيوعًا لدى الطلبة هو النمط القضائي، في حين كانت أقل الأنماط شيوعًا النمط المحافظ. كما وجدت فروق معنوية في نمطي الفوضوي، والهرمي، لصالح الذكور، وفي النمط التنفيذي لصالح الإناث. ووجدت فروق معنوية في أنماط التشريعي، والتنفيذي، والعالمي، والمحلي، لصالح طلبة البكالوريوس، وفي نمطي الفوضوي والتحرري، لصالح طلبة الدراسات المتوسطة.
