The study aimed to identify to what extent university students are contributed to volunteering work. Therefore, this study focused on the students of Jouf University & University of Hail. The analytical descriptive methodology was utilized in this study and questionnaires as an instrument to collect data. The instrument consisted of 45 sentences divided into four fields, which are cultural & social, educational, health & environmental, and national & security. The random sample was used to select the sample of the study. It was 850 students, which included 444 students from Jouf University and 406 students from University of Hail. The findings revealed that the contribution of students in both universities to volunteering work was low. For Jouf University, the health & environmental field had the highest degree while the educational field was the lowest. On the other hand, the response to the cultural & social field was the highest for Hail's students while the national & security field had the lowest response. In addition, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between students in both universities according to the study variables (major, educational level, and gender) for all fields. However, there was statistically significant differences between Jouf's students and Hail's students in favor of Jouf's students. The study recommendations were to spread volunteering culture among students through conferences and workshops, courses, and awareness of the importance of volunteering work and its positive effect on both the society and students.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة مساهمة طلبة الجامعة في مجال العمل التطوعي من خلال تسليط الضوء على طلبة جامعتي الجوف وحائل في مجال العمل التطوعي، حيث اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الكمي في دراسة وصفية حققت من خلاله أهدافها، وطبقت الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات، حيث حوت (45) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات هي: المجال الاجتماعي والثقافي، والمجال التربوي والتعليمي، والمجال الصحي والبيئي، والمجال الوطني والأمني، ولاختيار العينة فقد اعتمدت الدراسة العينة الاحتمالية وتكونت من (850) طالبًا وطالبة من كلا الجامعتين بواقع (444) من جامعة الجوف و(406) من جامعة حائل، وأظهرت النتائج أن مساهمة طلبة كلا الجامعتين في جميع مجالات العمل التطوعي الأربعة جاءت بدرجة منخفضة، وجاء المجال الصحي والبيئي أكثر المجالات مساهمة، والمجال التربوي والتعليمي أقلها من قبل طلبة جامعة الجوف، بينما جاء المجال الاجتماعي والثقافي أكثر المجالات مساهمة والمجال الوطني والأمني أقلها من قبل طلبة جامعة حائل، كما كشفت النتائج عن عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لدرجة مساهمة طلبة الجامعتين في مجال العمل التطوعي تبعًا لمتغيرات الدراسة (التخصص، المستوى العلمي، الجنس) لجميع المجالات والدرجة الكلية، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجة مساهمة طلبة جامعة الجوف وبين طلبة جامعة حائل في مجال العمل التطوعي لصالح طلبة جامعة الجوف، وجاءت أبرز توصيات الدراسة بضرورة نشر ثقافة العمل التطوعي بين طلبة الجامعات من خلال المؤتمرات وورش العمل والمقررات الدراسية والتوعية بأهمية العمل التطوعي وآثاره الإيجابية على المجتمع والطلبة.
