The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of an educational program to enhance the basic learning skills among primary students at Ibn Rushd Educational Company in Saudi Arabia. The study consisted of 84 students divided into four classes selected randomly; two classes to represent the experimental groups which the students studied a special educational program (Atqen program), and two classes to represent the control group which studied in the usual way. The modified basic learning skills test was developed, validated, and used in this study. The results indicated that the performance of the students in the experimental group is higher than that in the control group and this difference is statistically significant (P ≤ 0.05). Moreover, gender did not affect the performance between the two groups. The study recommend to apply Atqen program in different schools to enhance the basic learning skills among primary students.

هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء أثر برنامج تعليمي في تحسين مهارات التعلم الأساسية لدى طلبة المرحلة الابتدائية في شركة ابن رشد التعليمية في المملكة العربية السعودية. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (84) طالبًا وطالبة موزعين على أربع شعب جرى اختيارها عشوائيًا، شعبتين لتمثل المجموعة التجريبية، درست وفق برنامج تعليمي خاص (برنامج أتقن)، وشعبتين لتمثل المجموعة الضابطة، درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية. تم استخدام اختبار مهارات التعلم الأساسية، حيث تم تطويره والتحقق من صدقه وثباته. أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05)، بين متوسطي أداء طلبة المرحلة الابتدائية في اختبار مهارات التعلم الأساسية لصالح طلبة المجموعة التجريبية الذين درسوا وفق برنامج أتقن، كما أشارت النتائج بعدم وجود أثر للجنس في التفاعل بين كلا البرنامجين في مهارات التعلم الأساسية. توصي الدراسة بتطبيق برنامج أتقن في مختلف المدارس لتحسين مهارات التعلم الأساسية لدى طلبة المرحلة الابتدائية.
