This study aimed to find out the relationship between psychological capital and self-compassion among Yarmouk University teachers. The study sample consisted of (104) teachers from Yarmouk University who were selected randomly. To achieve the objectives of the study, the two researchers used the psychological capital scale and the self-compassion scale. The appropriate random design was used for the sample, and the results showed a positive correlation between psychological capital and self-compassion and also revealed a negative correlation between the two dimensions of isolation and excessive autism with psychological capital among Yarmouk University teachers. The study recommended the need to implement workshops dealing with psychological capital and self-compassion in order to develop interventions concerned with it. And training in psychological capital and self-compassion skills with the aim of improving the performance of the respondents, in addition to conducting many studies and research on psychological capital and self-compassion and linking them to multiple other variables.

هدفت هذه الدّراسة إلى بحث العلاقة بين رأس المال النفسي والتعاطف مع الذات لدى مدرسي جامعة اليرموك. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (104) مدرس من مدرسي جامعة اليرموك اُختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية. ولتحقيق اهداف الدراسة، استخدم الباحثان مقياس رأس المال النفسي، ومقياس التعاطف مع الذات. وتم استخدام تصميم العينة العـشوائية الملائمة، أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إيجابية بين رأس المال النفسي والتعاطف مع الذات، كما وكشفت أيضًا عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين بُعدي العزلة والتوحد المفرط مع رأس المال النفسي لدى مدرسي جامعة اليرموك. اوصت الدراسة بضرورة تنفيذ الورش المعنية برأس المال النفسي والتعاطف مع الذات لتنمية التدخلات المعنية بهما، والتدرب على مهارات رأس المال النفسي والتعاطف مع الذات بهدف تحسين أداء المستجيبين، اضافة الى اجراء العديد من الدراسات والابحاث المعنية برأس المال النفسي والتعاطف مع الذات وربطهما بمتغيرات متعددة اخرى.
